Tips for choosing water treatment equipment...

• Look for a local, well established dealer that can service all systems they offer
• Insist on equipment with both NSF and WQA Gold Seal "certifications"! - if it doesn't have them, you won't really know what your getting
• Look for 3rd party certification - Consumers Digest, Good Housekeeping Institute, etc.
• Is the product performance based on FACT or FAITH? Insists on verifiable, proven technology.
• Beware of products that rely heavily on "testimonials", they are usually short on facts and satisfaction.
• Compare warranties - discount the term "lifetime", the courts don't even know what it what it means.
• Don't buy on price alone - low price will most often result in higher repair and operating costs.
• Insist on water testing with an EPA approved test kit "before" and "after" your product is installed!
• Be sure model numbers, prices, and all installation costs are in writing!
